The team at Wiscoy For Animals in State College is here for you and your pets. In our media driven world, part of our mission is to help you sort and understand the value of animal feeds through the barrage of marketing that dominates the messaging.

Nutritional Counseling

As pet owners, we want to know if we are doing the right thing for our pets. Nutritional needs for dogs and cats vary due to many aspects like life stage, size, breed, activity levels, health, and more, as a result, a one-size-fits-all strategy to nutrition will not work. We can advise you on which foods will be ideal based upon your animal's necessities, quantity to feed, and how to read pet food labels. Call us to set up a nutrition appointment for your pet.

Wiscoy's has an excellent selection of bird foods and feeders as well as dog or cat toys and foods. They also have a lovely array of gifts so it is well worth a visit. The owner and staff are so kind, I feel welcome the minute I walk in the door. It's a special store in our area.

Great selection off dog and cat food. Very knowledgeable staff that was able to help my find a comparable dog food when my online order was delayed. Highly recommend

I've been learning from Wanda and her colleagues since she opened (minus the decade I lived out of state). To this date she calls me by name! SO knowledgeable and supportive. Wanda has provided guidance on different foods, strategies to minimize skin reactions to allergens, and just been an overall gem. When my son was younger she was charmed by his impish personality wanting to climb on the dog food bags. He was treated as valuable youth customer every time he went to buy feed and toys for his birds with his own money. Just all-around great people and resource in the community.
